Navigating Perfectionism in Grad School

Nov. 3, 2026
12:30 - 2 p.m.
C4C, Room S350

Do you ever feel like your work is never quite good enough? Perfectionism can create unrealistic expectations, fuel self-criticism and make it difficult to recognize your accomplishments.

Join Stacy Gerberich, Psy.D., Embedded Therapist for the Graduate School, to explore how perfectionism develops, how it shows up in graduate school and how it can impact your academic success and well-being. You'll learn strategies for challenging perfectionistic thinking, practicing self-compassion and pursuing excellence without the pressure to be perfect.

Open to all graduate students and postdocs.

Lunch will be provided to those that RSVP by Nov. 3.
