Join Dr. Leslie-Ellen Blood for our 2026 Grad+ Summer Intensive.

"Tell me a little about yourself..." is a seemingly innocuous question that can prove difficult to answer whether you're on a first date or during an interview for your dream job. We "wear" labels, such as "brother", "mother", "doctor", "pianist", "student" (you get the idea), to communicate our value and what we value. Image is an external representation of our identity that we cultivate based on feedback over time. Our habits and behaviors help form identity over time and when we become more intentional about what we do, we determine who we can/will be. If you want to feel confident walking into any room, comfortable talking to anyone and secure in your decisions, don't miss our final Summer Intensive: Identity, Purpose, Image & Confidence for Resilience.

Outcomes:

  • Apply identity, attention & behavior theories to build internal trust
  • Discover the relationship between environment and image translation
  • Analyze current behavioral practices to identify investment habits for confidence
  • Develop internal definitions for external labels
  • Prioritize and practice identity

Open to ALL graduate students and postdocs!
