3MT Final Competition

Please join us for the eighth annual 3MT Final Competition!

The Graduate School hosts its eighth annual Three Minute Thesis (3MT) Final Competition on Thursday, Feb. 13, in the UMC Glenn Miller Ballroom, from 4 - 6 p.m. Competitors will describe their complex research in three minutes, using only one static slide, in front of a panel of judges and a live audience. 

The first-place winner will receive $1,500 in prize money and the opportunity to represent the university at the Western Association of Graduate Schools (WAGS) competition in Denver, CO, in March 2025. The runner-up will receive $750, and the People’s Choice winner will receive $500.
